Postion:
Generator Technician
Key responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and major repair tasks on our fleet equipment.
- Effectively troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Properly complete required paperwork as required.
- Use of manufacturer specific diagnostic software to program & troubleshoot control systems.
- Provide support to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction.
- Be a role model of safety.
- Work as a team player, showing support and help educate other technicians to increase turnaround times with assets returning into service.
- Travel to jobsites to perform maintenance/repair of fleet or customer owned equipment. Accommodations may be assigned as needed.
- Must be able to maintain assigned service vehicle including cleaning, routine maintenance, minor repairs and daily inspections.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Possess the proper tools (electrical tools, hand tools, specialty tools) to efficiently perform maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Must have previous experience with temporary power and power generation equipment.
- Understanding of electrical circuits and power distribution.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, experience with Cummins InSite, InPower and other OEM software is a plus.
- Able to work on a call schedule.
