Meet the Team

Heath Ledet


          As President of Montco Oilfield Solutions, Heath Ledet brings over 22 years of experience from various aspects of the power generation industry.  He has an extensive background that includes manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and sales which are all crucial to the power generation industry.  As the Manufacturing Manager and a crucial part of the management team at Welch Generator Rentals, Heath had to adapt to major changes when National Oilwell Varco chose to purchase Welch Generator Rentals.  His leadership and team building ability showed through as he was promoted to U.S. Northern Regional Manager.  With this new title he was tasked with opening seven new facilities, in various shale plays, within the United States.  He opened all seven facilities, from the ground up, with great success and efficiency.  This makes for him to be the perfect driving force to see MOS thru its projected path of growth and expansion.  In 2013, Heath took the opportunity to partner with MOS to build a power generation / service company that would stand behind great service with integrity and build long lasting relationships with our customer base.

Darrell Bruce

Director of Operations

          Darrell started his career gaining experience in the offshore industry on supply boats maintaining generators and vessel engines. After two years, he became interested in the more technical aspects of the industry, specifically power generation. Darrell was hired into the manufacturing department building generators and worked there for over three years before moving into the purchasing/inventory department. His understanding and proficiency boosted him to the Purchasing/Inventory Manager position within the company. Through an acquisition, he was given the opportunity to be part of a team to open new business units throughout the U.S. from start to finish for a nationally known oil company. This opportunity then propelled him to the position of Purchasing/Inventory Control Manager over all their U.S. portable power. Darrell brought over 12 years of hands on technical and operational experience to our team when he started with MOS as the Inventory/Operations Manager in 2013.  His roles and responsibilities are quickly expanding with the rapid growth of MOS, which led to his promotion to Director of Operations.

Derek Boudreaux

VP of Finance and Accounting

       As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Derek’s responsibilities consist of the financial, commercial, and administrative functions of our business.  With a BS in Accounting and an MBA, both from Nicholls State University, he has since accumulated 13 years of experience in the oil and gas and energy industries, most of which came at Montco Companies.  During his time there, he was propelled from Accountant to CFO, and later through a joint venture worked as COO of a multinational liftboat operating company. In 2019, Derek decided to focus all of his efforts on Montco Oilfield Solutions and brings knowledge and transaction experience in financing, asset construction, acquisitions, and joint ventures which will allow MOS to continue to fulfill the needs of its customers, employees, and stakeholders.

John Childers

Director of HSE/Ops Support Specialist

       As Director of HSE/ Ops Support Specialist, John brings nineteen years of business management and operational experience to our team. He began his career right out of high school, working eleven years for a local chemical company, seven of which he served as a manager. He became proficient in his sales and people skills after spending five years as an oil customer service representative for a leading environmental company. He also gained invaluable experience by spending seven years as the Regional Branch Manager, with one of the world’s oldest environmental companies from Spain, servicing the West Texas and El Paso areas. He joined Montco Oilfield Solutions five years ago as the Facility/Operations Manager, and with his experience and ability, has expanded to the roles of HR, HSE, and Operations within the company.

Christie McEwen

Marketing Coordinator

          Christie began her career in oil and gas with Montco Offshore, Inc. as a receptionist, after majoring in Fashion Merchandising/minoring in Business Administration at Baylor University. During her 8 and a half years there, she saw the company through many changes and was involved with various aspects of the business such as sales, event planning, marketing, lease negotiations, budget planning and designing office spaces. Over time, she was promoted to the position of Office Manager and then General Manager. Christie is now finding her niche in both the outbound and inbound marketing arena. Her experience and education in visual design, marketing and planning has prepared her for her new role as Marketing Coordinator for Montco Oilfield Solutions.
